| Dr Castellano
is a nationally recognized speaker having presented
well over 100 lectures in the field of reconstructive surgery for
the foot and ankle. He graduated from Georgia Southern University
in 1982. In 1986, he received his doctorate degree from the Pennsylvania
College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Castellano completed
his surgical training at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Atlanta,
Georgia. He began his practice in Fort Myers and Bonita Springs
in 1989. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric
Surgery.
In 1991, and
again, in 1993 Dr Castellano spent a month in Perth, Australia performing
complex surgical procedures on several children and adults. Most
of the podiatrists in Perth spent the month observing and improving
their surgical skills under Dr. Castellano's supervision.
Dr. Castellano
is an avid saltwater flyfisherman and enjoys his sport in the waters
around Sanibel Island.
