Dr. Krista Howard, a native Floridian, recently relocated back to her hometown of Ft. Myers to join our practice. Dr. Howard graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. 

Dr Howard graduated from Podiatry School from Barry University in Miami Shores and did a 3 year residency at South Miami Hospital focusing in rear foot and forefoot surgery. And that She is President of the Lee County Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Howard continued her post-graduate training in Miami where she completed an extensive 3 years of residency in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at South Miami Hospital. Upon completion, she graduated as Co-Chief Resident in June 2015 in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with added credentials in reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Howard has extensive training in treating all aspects of foot and ankle care. She has specific interest in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, wound care, limb salvage, sports injuries, tendon and ligament injuries, and foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Howard is board qualified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
